About ALANYC

The mission of the New York City Chapter is to provide members with high-quality educational programs in legal management and timely information to empower them to perform their jobs more effectively and efficiently.

Soul Bucket

Soul is geared toward implementing Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives within our Chapter. These include Diversity and Inclusion, Networking Events & Community Services, Green Initiatives, Community Connections and Wealth/Financial Management.

Community Connections Team
This team is responsible for creating and conducting workplace success training programs for students in NYC colleges. This pipeline initiative will include hands-on mentoring and training sessions designed to provide students with a wealth of information about succeeding in the workplace. The program, entitled the ALANYC C.O.R.E. program (Career Opportunities through Resources & Education), will yield a potential pool of future employees and ALANYC members.

ALANYC invites past presidents and seasoned members to join the team to help with conducting workshops on demand.

Networking Events & Community Services Team
The Community Services arm of this team selects not-for-profit organizations within our local community to be the beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts. The team plans events and fundraisers on behalf of these worthy organizations. The beneficiaries of our fundraisers provide a myriad of services to people in need – causes have ranged from victims of domestic and sexual abuse to training guide dogs for the benefit of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc.

All of our efforts are assisted and supported by our Chapter members, Business Partner Sponsors, families and friends. We continue to encourage everyone’s support! Please contact the team to volunteer your services, recommend charities or to donate raffle prizes or services.

The Events arm of this team focuses on hosting social events and luncheon programs throughout the year. Luncheons are designed to facilitate networking among our members and business partners and provide topical programming in a variety of forms including roundtables, panel discussions and guest speakers.

ALANYC invites its members to join the team to support overall fundraising efforts and planning and coordinating annual ALANYC signature events.  Members are also invited to contact the team leader with ideas and suggestions for topics.
