What is the date and time?
This year’s Symposium is Thursday October 24, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where is the venue?
151 W. 42nd Street, 4th Floor
New York, NY 10036

How do we gain access the day of the Symposium to the venue?
The entrance is on the 42nd Street side. You will need to present ID to security in the lobby.

How can I view course information?
Course information can be viewed on the sessions page.

Can I receive CLM credit?
Yes. The majority of Symposium courses will allow you to earn CLM credit.

What is the fee to attend?

ALANYC Regular and Hardship Members: Free to attend
Retiree: $75
Secondary: $100

ALA Other Chapter Member: $150
Non-Member in Law Firm/Legal Department: $250

Please note: A no-show fee of $100 will be charged to all registrants who do not cancel by October 18.

Do members have to register if the event is free?
Yes. All attendees must register in advance so that we can plan and make spacing arrangements.

How do I register?
Members, guests and speakers should register through the registration form. Registration will be open from September 16 – October 16, 2024.

As a speaker do I need to register?
Yes, you should register using the registration link.

Will food be provided?
Registration/Breakfast: 8:00 a.m.to 8:45 a.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Cocktail Reception: 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Will I be able to access the session recordings?
This is an in-person only event. Presentations will be made available to attendees after the event.

Will there be a Business Partner Exhibition Hall?
Yes. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our amazing Business Partners at their tables in the Exhibition Hall throughout the day.  There will be an opportunity for games and prizes. Please be sure to bring business cards.
