Soul is geared toward implementing Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives within our Chapter. These include Networking events, Diversity and Inclusion, Community Services, and Sustainability (Green Initiatives).
Annual Events & Luncheon Team
The Annual Events and Luncheon Team identifies venues to host the Chapter’s networking events, signature events, and luncheon programs throughout the year. Events and Luncheons are designed to facilitate networking among our Members and Business Partners and provide topical programming in a variety of formats including roundtables, panel discussions and guest speakers.
ALANYC invites its members to join the team to assist in planning and coordinating these events.

Community Services and C.O.R.E. (Career Opportunities Through Resources and Education) Team
The Community Services team selects not-for-profit organizations within our local community to be the beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts. The team plans events and fundraisers on behalf of these worthy organizations. The beneficiaries of our fundraisers have been the Urban Debate League, City Harvest, Volunteers of America, Dress for Success, to name a few.
All of our efforts are assisted and supported by our Chapter members, Business Partners, families and friends. We continue to encourage everyone’s support and invite you to join the team to volunteer your services, recommend charities or to donate raffle prizes.
Our C.O.R.E. pipeline initiative focuses on creating and conducting workplace success training programs for students in NYC Schools. Programs include hands-on mentoring and training sessions designed to provide students with a wealth of information about succeeding in the workplace. Our goal is develop a potential pool of future employees and ALANYC members. ALANYC invites its members to join the team to help with conducting workshops on demand.
