Nancy Robillard is a communication skills trainer and coach with 25+ years of experience. For the last ten years she has worked extensively with business professionals and their teams to ensure that their communication is clear and impactful. Nancy started her career as a professional theatre director and has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway and in regional theatre. She also works extensively as an educator and has taught acting and public speaking at several colleges. In her training and coaching work, she helps business professionals and their teams ensure their messages are clear and skillfully delivered by teaching theatrical techniques that powerfully engage audiences. She works with clients across many industries, including finance, law, technology, health care, and non-profit organizations. She has prepared clients for sales presentations, media interviews, panel discussions, TED talks, keynotes, and more. She offers individual as well as group coaching.
This workshop will help participants develop executive presence, which is an essential capability for leading teams, influencing partners, and building credibility with clients. Participants will learn how to interact more effectively at work and present a polished, professional presence across a range of situations. Attendees will learn: body language and vocal power to build trust and credibility, active listening to gain insight, communicating calmly and confidently in stressful situations, enhancing virtual presence, and how to navigate questions and interruptions skillfully and seamlessly. The session will include a combination of instruction, facilitated discussion and practical exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to practice new approaches and receive feedback in a supportive environment. Participants will leave with new and enhanced skills that they can use right away.
